About Suniel Parihar

Suniel Parihar, is a distinguished Indian Army veteran, author, Positive Psychology practitioner, and Kriya Yoga seeker.

He served with distinction in the Indian Army, including high-altitude deployments in Siachen, and gained deep experience in intelligence and national security. His first book, India’s Spy Agencies: Shaken not Stirred, received strong acclaim and was procured in bulk by Army Headquarters for all Army libraries and Rashtriya Rifles units.

While in service, he pursued a Master’s degree in Psychology. While he values modern approaches such as Positive Psychology and CBT, he believes ancient Indian wisdom especially the Bhagavad Gita and Kriya Yoga offers far deeper insights into inner transformation, resilience, and human potential.

He authored two more books: Mission Possible: A Veteran’s Blueprint for Corporate Triumph and Self-Mastery (acclaimed 4.2/5 by Deified Publications) and Heal Yourself To Happiness.

He also created AdvenEL (Adventure based Experiential Learning) and HiMate (High Intensity Military Adventure Training Experience), which trained over 1,000 Delhi Police officers for the Commonwealth Games.

Today, Suniel Parihar is building Solace by the Hillside, a non-commercial, invitation-only sanctuary in a heritage village near downy Bhaderwah, Jammu and Kashmir. It is his way of nurturing India’s creative potential by creating space for deep work and deep peace.
